ADOLESCENT DAY SERVICES, STATEN ISLAND

The program is available Mon-Fri 8:30am to 3:30pm and Sat 10:00am to 2:00 pm., and includes:

Education – Students provided a full High School curriculum, supported by the New York City Department of Education, using licensed teachers who provide individual attention and self paced learning. Students may choose either a regular academic program, with the goal of returning to high school, or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preparation.

Counseling – Group and individual counseling services are provided at the end of the school day.

Workshops – To confront many of today’s problems, such as teen suicide, HIVAIDS , STD’s and teen pregnancy.

Careers – Guidance counseling sessions introduce clients to the world of work. Camelot’s vocational counselor assists clients with planning their job future, and offers placement assistance to those ready to work.

YOUNG ADULT AND ADULT EVENING PROGRAM, STATEN ISLAND

The program is available Mon-Thurs 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and Sat 10:00am to 2:00 pm., and includes:

Counseling – Group counseling twice weekly and individual counseling once (1x) weekly

Workshops – To confront many of today’s problems, such as teen suicide, HIV/AIDS , STD’s and teen pregnancy.

Careers – Guidance counseling sessions introduce clients to the world of work. Camelot’s vocational counselor assists clients with planning their job future, and offers placement assistance to those ready to work.

This program houses male adolescents and young adults with substance abuse, family, emotional, and behavioral problems 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

This program includes:

  • Counseling – Individual, family, and group sessions
  • Vocational services
  • Educational services – On site NYC Department of Education High School teachers
  • Recreational activities

The average length of stay is approximately 6 to 9 months, followed by an outpatient aftercare program with family counseling, for a period of 6 – 12 months.

Adult Outpatient services are available for men and women. Services offered:

Group sessions – Daily

Individual counseling – minimum of once per week

Family counseling sessions – for spouses, parents, or significant others

Workshops – To confront many of today’s problems, including HIV/AIDS, STD’s, and other health related issues.

Recreational/Cultural Alternatives – learn to enjoy life without drugs or alcohol

 Camelot’s Family Association provides therapy and education to families about appropriately dealing with their feelings surrounding the addict and support through the
treatment process.

Camelot offers NO COST assistance to families and significant others for those who are suffering with a drug misuser at home. Our Family Support Association meets weekly. Help Camelot help your family and loved one by bringing anyone who is concerned along. BREAK FREE and help them RECOVER.
